Tony Charles

The practice of Tony Charles investigates the relationship between two dimensions and three dimensions; painting and sculpture; drawing and sculpture, whilst attempting to discover a synthesis between art and industry through the use of industrial materials, processes and concepts.

He gained a BA(Hons) Fine Art from Teesside University, an MA Fine Art from Northumbria University and a PhD from Sunderland University. He currently lectures part time at the Northern School of Art. Tony Lives and works in Teesside.
